The two-day action is open for all teams.
This year’s Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) national beach volleyball tour is set to serve off on 18 February at the Big Tree hotel beach in Mombasa.
While sending out invites for teams to register for the FIVB homologated beach volleyball tour, the beach volleyball commission has called on all clubs to register at least three teams per gender.
Teams are expected to pay a participation fee of Ksh 1,000 per team and register with KVF secretariat or beach volleyball commission before Wednesday 15 February by 18:00 hrs.
“This will enable all teams to be registered on the FIVB BVIS system and determine the format of the competition. This is FIVB homologated beach volleyball tour hence the individual players are supposed to be registered in BVIS and have fully completed doping online program,” the invite reads in part.
The technical briefing will be done on Saturday 18 February at 8:30 am, prior to kick off at exactly 9:00 am.

“Teams will be awarded points according to their ranking which shall be added in other subsequent beach volleyball tours to determine the overall ranking of 2022/2023 season. We look forward to your kind cooperation as we prepare our teams for the continental championships,” the letter further reads.
The men’s teams are fresh from competing in the second leg of the KVF men’s indoor league hosted at Nyayo National Stadium while the women’s teams were in action last month for the playoffs that concluded the delayed 2022 season.
